SCHOOLS DAY

We invited children from across Greater Manchester to our Ripples of Hope Festival Schools Day. Here the children were able to engage in human rights topics through talks, workshops, performances and exhibitions.

ABOUT SCHOOLS DAY

We invited young people to participate in our Ripples of Hope Festival of Human Rights to inspire and educate.

The event was hosted by Reece Williams and featured talks from Kerry Kennedy and a panel of youth activists and social entrepreneurs  including Kenny Imafidon, Heba Rose Ahmed & Jaiden Corfield.

On the day, we launched our exhibition, 'What Does It Mean To Be Human?'. The artworks featured were created by young people attending the event.

Young people on our schools programme, performed a one-off live performance of  'This Is Us'  which saw schools children learn a dance that celebrates who we are and what we believe in.

In collaboration with Young Identity, we provided poetry workshops for young people in attendance. Here young people communicated their inherent rights through poetry.
