Inspired by people – their stories, their strength and their creativity – Ripples of Hope is a new, unique 5-day festival for all of us to:
1. Think about the challenges we faces as communities and as humanity.
2. Celebrate the power of people to make change.
3. Explore how w can take action to make human rights a reality for all.

Simon Armitage convened 30 poets from around the world to create a unique poetic response to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, with special performances from Linton Kwesi Johnson, Jackie Kay and Lemn Sissay. On Human Rights Day, we launched another Poetic Declaration, written by school children across the North West.

Senior business decision-makers came together to begin to build a community committed to creating a better world, through an immersive day of talks and workshops.
